Pokémon GO players will have a chance to catch a new Pokémon from the Hisui region on May 6th. Kleavor, an ancient evolution of Scyther, will appear in Pokémon GO for the first time during Kleavor Raid Day, a special in-game event that will last from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm local time.
Kleavor is a Bug and Rock-type Pokémon that has a unique signature move called Stone Axe. It is weak against Water, Steel, and Rock-type attacks, and resistant against Normal and Poison-type moves.
Shiny Kleavor will also be available to catch from raids, so players should look out for its different coloration. Kleavor has a green body with red eyes and black markings in its shiny form, while its normal form has a brown body with yellow eyes and white markings.
Scyther will not be able to evolve into Kleavor in Pokémon GO, and it is unknown if it ever will be able to. Kleavor is exclusive to the Hisui region, which is featured in the upcoming game Pokémon Legends: Arceus. Kleavor is one of the many regional variants and ancient evolutions that are introduced in this game.
Don’t miss this opportunity to catch Kleavor and add it to your Pokédex. Kleavor Raid Day is a rare chance to encounter this ancient Pokémon from the Hisui region. Good luck and happy raiding!
