Pokémon GO players are in for a treat this April as Niantic has announced that Togetic, the Happiness Pokémon, will be featured during the game’s Community Day event.
The event will take place on Saturday, April 15th from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm local time.
During this time, Togetic will appear more frequently in the wild and trainers will have a chance to catch its elusive Shiny variant.
Additionally, trainers can enjoy multiple bonuses such as 2x Catch Candy and XL Candy chances, as well as a reduced hatch distance of 1/4.
After the three-hour Community Day event ends, trainers will also have the opportunity to take on unique four-star Raid Battles.
Claiming victory in one of these raids will cause more Togetic to appear around the Gym that hosted the raid for 30 minutes.
Evolve Togetic during the event or up to five hours afterward to get a Togekiss that knows the Charged Attack Aura Sphere.
